I received a really nice email from Ali J. in Knoxville, TN (by way of Sydney, Australia), a fellow "writing mum" -- who, by the way, writes a blog for
The Knoxville News Sentinel called
The Shopping Bag:
"Your local source for all that is shopping in East Tennessee." It's fabulous!
As we got to corresponding, Ali mentioned a possible trip to Atlanta and was wondering about "good tips on where to go" while visiting Atlanta with a young child...
In the spirit of helping out another mom/mum, and making it easy for her to plan a fun-filled day or two in the city that I know so well--especially with kids!--I am putting together a
Top 10 List for Fun With Kids in Atlanta.
This is an
interactive exercise!!! I hope Ali might send a Top 10 List for Knoxville, and that we might get Moms all over the U.S. (and beyond!) involved with this Camp Mommy 2006 project.
I would LOVE to see--and share!--
Top 10 Lists for Fun With Kids in YOUR CITY!

Who better than the "native" Moms to tell us the best places to go and fun things to do with kids in
any city? Tried and true, these are the things you'll be doing this summer with your kids--the Insider's Tips. It doesn't have to be fancy or comprehensive, and I'd love to feature Top 10s for large cities, or areas of large cities, as well as small and medium-sized cities, and teeny-tiny towns, too--one never knows where we might find ourselves in our travels!
