It has been a busy day, running around on errands: Tax Day (still have to send payments) & Book Group management issues.
I've been asked to coordinate the offline Midtown (Atlanta) Book Group at Barnes & Noble@GeorgiaTech, which I'm really excited about. I had a meeting with the CRM/Book Group Manager at the store this morning, and it's easy to get carried away with a fellow book lover! This is my first time coordinating an offline book group, and it is a very diverse, wonderful group of people, so it will be interesting and challenging to help select books that everyone will enjoy.
While I was at Barnes & Noble, I happened to see my book,
The Rebel Housewife Rules: To Heck With Domestic Bliss!" in the
Bargain Books section...I'm not sure how to feel about that! It was the Gift Book Version, which I never loved (odd size & they completely changed the cover), and I was too distraught to remember if the discount price was $6.98 or $7.98. If it had been the original version (still available at
Amazon.com!), I would have bought them all up. As it was, there were only 3 copies, so it's okay...sniff, sniff...
It's definitely time to get the next book out! (Oh so much easier said than done!!)
