I recently surfed upon a fabulous pop culture blog at MamaPop.com -- The Rebel Housewife loves MamaPop, a group of talented women bloggers who are up on all the latest in celebrity news & gossip, with great photos & commentary -- an online US Weekly, with a lot less advertising and stupid stuff.

MamaPop just announced the MamaPop Online Book Group, which I think will be very interesting and a lot of fun, with the first title selected: THE WASHINGTONIENNE by Jessica Cutler.

Check it out. We'll talk more soon. We can read together, oh but here's a warning
(not for the faint of heart):

"Before I get into details of how we'll run the book club, here's a quick caveat about Ms. Cutler. The media has been extraordinarily cruel to and about her. Gossip mongers and journalists (is there a difference?) have painted her as a whore and a villain and an opportunist. They've delighted in spilling all the sordid details of her life and now, legal proceedings.

Maybe these stories have already skewed your perceptions and you have no desire to read a smutty book written by a terrible person.

However, I beg you to reconsider..."
