Drama Queen & I made it to our favorite Barnes & Noble store (at Edgewood/Atlanta) Wednesday, to visit our good friend, Paul; to find a birthday gift for our favorite one-year-old; and to buy books for our daily D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read!). Mission(s) accomplished, with an added bonus:

Barnes & Noble 2007 Summer Reading Program

Kids get 1 FREE book
when they read 8 books this summer:

Last summer, we provided 190,000 free books and participants read 2.3 million books! This year, children can join Jack and Annie from Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House on their summer adventure as part of their own journey in our Summer Reading program.
You can pick up the Reading Journal, and the "Official Magic Tree House PASSPORT" (if your kids are reading The Magic Tree House series), at any local Barnes & Noble, or print out online: Barnes & Noble 2007 Summer Reading Program
