Camp Mommy - At The Movies

Does it make me a Bad Mommy if, by 6:00 PM on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, in only the second week of summer vacation, a.k.a. CAMP MOMMY, after being gone all weekend to the grandparents in Florida, in the car all day yesterday, and midway through the medication cycle for a stress-induced illness; after enjoying a fairly quiet morning with the kids playing and watching cartoons and catching up on cleaning up and laundry from the trip, and then finally deciding the natives were getting awfully restless and it was time to GET OUT for a little while (on a rainy day), so we went to the theatre to see Madagascar, which was great, but we blew half the week's entertainment budget on admission, concessions and Icees, and then we all kind of came home on a sugar high with a bit of a headache...

Does it make me a Bad Mommy, after all that, if I'm ready for Quittin' Time?!

I didn't think so.

53 Days To Go, and we are doing just fine...
Day #7 Total = $50 on Movie Day

(We'll have to go with the cheaper alternatives next time--like eating lunch before, keeping snacks simple, and enjoying the Regal Cinemas Free Family Film Festival on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings throughout the summer.)
