I mentioned CROCS in my
Rebel Review: Stone Mountain Park. While these shoes are about as ugly as anything and look like they should be banished to the garden, they are remarkably versatile and surprisingly comfortable -- and they do come in a bunch of cool colors. We saw them all over the place at the end of the school year, and I bought them for the kids for our summer water adventures to the pool and the beach. I ended up buying CROCS for myself and hubby too. They are
perfect
for playing in the sidewalk water fountains (like at
Stone Mountain and our
Centennial Park in Atlanta), because you can wear them in the water to protect the feet, get them wet, and they dry out very quickly, without mildew, mold, or nasty foot fungus (fungi?).
The CROCS have worked out very well for the whole family -- even the dog loves them! Fortunately, CROCS has a really great
website and a free
replacement policy on straps and rivits. Tiger will be up and running again in his navy blue CROCS in no time -- and hopefully, he'll learn to put them away in the closet so Mocha the CROC-killer doesn't get them again!
