Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

It's hard to come home to Atlanta after 10 gorgeous days on the beach in Florida. Pensacola Beach is a beautiful area--quiet. The kids had a great time in the water everyday and with their g'ma, g'pa, uncle, aunt, and two little cousins.

It was a very busy 10 days for THE REBEL HOUSEWIFE RULES!
(So much to share, I don't know where to start!!)
1) Great response to preliminary buzz and publisher's catalog from Jane, Fitness, Parenting, and Baby Talk Magazines!
2) I got an email from a producer of The Oprah Show!
3) Terrific response at BEA (Book Expo America - huge industry conference/trade show in Chicago, early June) - publicity director writes:

"Just back from BEA where the response to Rebel was wonderful. Outside of Oprah's peeps who were there late on Sunday, we also received terrific response from the producers of the new Jane Pauley show on NBC - woo hoo!! Others of note: Complete Woman, Good Morning America, Chicago Tribune Women's Section (appears on Wednesdays)."

4) The galleys (uncorrected proofs - black & white bound copies) have been sent out to trade publications and magazines.
5) I received an early copy of our book (galley)--it's BEAUTIFUL!!!

I'll save some of the great news for tomorrow. So much to do to catch up from 10 days away...
