Been There, Done That, Got the T-Shirt
![Date Date](/universal/images/transparent.png)
I’d like a new t-shirt:
I Survived Five Fabulous Days of Thanksgiving
…as The Mom: that person most responsible (and held accountable) for everyone’s health, happiness, future emotional stability, etc. The holidays can be rough on the old girl, but we made it through another year and it’s on to CHRISTMAS!!!
I’ll have to get on the Holiday Survival T-Shirt search, maybe after I locate:
"Your Candy Ass is NEXT"
...which is still #1 on my boob billboard wish list, having heard about it from a friend-of-a-friend (long story involving the slogan emblazoned, well-stretched, over the heaving bosom of a good ol’ girl in a white trash throwdown, something to the effect: "whachertellinmykidzanythin’mindyerowndambidnesstheykinplayinarunnin’carifinIsezso..."
Anyway...Five Fabulous Days of Thanksgiving and Three Big Events (Thanksgiving Dinner, Santa Visit, and Car Shopping (ugh!)) and it's finally Monday, although they didn’t all make it back to work and school today. It happens every holiday, someone gets sick and ends up extending his/her personal holiday.
I have tough criteria for staying home: Fever or Vomit. She’s working on the badge for both, poor baby. So I have the pleasure of Haleigh’s company today – playing nurse, while trying to avoid getting breathed on...there's a whole 'nother t-shirt issue...
